Amble’s Karl Taylor won yesterday’s Druridge Bay 10k.
The Morpeth Harrier crossed the line in 33min 41sec, just over two minutes ahead of second-placed Mark Snowball.
It was the second time the 24-year-old has won the race, after taking the 2013 crown.
The first woman home was Alnwick Harrier Jo Gascoigne-Owens, who finished 11th overall in 39:17.
Nearly 450 people finished the annual race, which this year was raising money for Amble RNLI’s Shannon Lifeboat Appeal.
