The wet weather wiped out the vast majority of cricket games in Northumberland on Saturday.
No balls were bowled at some grounds and there was frustration at others when matches had to be abandoned after play got underway.
Ponteland II had reached 83-2 against Lintz II, with James Ealey 51 not out, when the umpires took the players off and no further play was possible.
Blagdon Park I were doing even better when their match was abandoned. At home to Kirkley, they were 103-1 and Mark Foster was looking set to make a big score as he was 52 not out from 68 balls.
