The crowd at the first professional boxing event in Morpeth for 85 years enjoyed three decent bouts.
But there was also disappointment as Pegswood-based fighter Danny Wall, who was set to top the bill, did not take part in the show last Friday.
Two opponents for the 26-year-old pulled out in the run-up to the evening.
Another boxer initially agreed to fight Danny on the day, but in the end, he did not make an appearance at the Riverside Lodge in High Stanners. Wall did go into the ring to see his fans but did not speak.
Promoter Steve Wraith has agreed that those who bought tickets from Wall will receive a £5 discount for tickets to his revised pro debut at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead on Saturday, October 17.
In the boxing action, Commonwealth title holder Anthony Nelson beat Ian Halsall 59-56, and there were also wins for Mark White and Paul Gidney.
