Riders head north

TOP-CLASS cyclists from across the North East and Yorkshire will be coming to rural Northumberland on Saturday.

Barnesbury Cycling Club’s annual Hilly 21-mile Time Trial starts 200m north of the junction of A696 and B6524 at Belsay.

The route will also include Bolam, Scots Gap, Rothley and Cambo. The first rider will set off at 2.02pm.

Prizes will also be awarded to veteran riders and the first lady to finish.
