TALENTED amateur artists could see their work on show at a Northumberland museum.
Woodhorn Museum and Northumberland Archives near Ashington is playing host to The Federation of Northern Art Societies’ exhibition.
The display will show work from amateur art groups across the region, including Northumberland, and many of the paintings will be for sale.
It follows a successful exhibition in 2008, which featured around 150 works from more than 50 groups.
Events and Exhibitions Officer Liz Ritson said: “The exhibition was very popular with our visitors last time. We know how much they enjoy having the opportunity to see such a significant collection of amateur paintings from right around the region under one roof.”
The exhibition is open Wednesdays to Sundays until the end of January.
