BELSAY will soon be rolling out the white carpet to welcome visitors.
The Grade 1 gardens at Belsay Hall and Castle will soon be showing their impressive snowdrop displays, with thousands of flowers creating a magnificent white carpet effect.
Snowdrops have been present at the estate since the 1800s when Lady Middleton planted them. Traditionally they date back to medieval times and signify the end of winter.
They only appear in February and March so now is the best time to pop along to see them.
Entry costs £8 adults, £6.80 concession and £4 for children.
