THE Morpeth Camera Club meeting on Tuesday, March 6, was a competition results night.

Rob Appleby, from Gateshead Camera Club, was the guest judge. He had agreed to present his comments and selections in both the Second Open and Browell Trophy Natural History PDI contests.

Both attracted a large entry and Mr Appleby stated that the high standard of work submitted by club members had given him his most difficult judging task to date.

After commenting on every image he announced the results.

Second Open PDI Competition: 1 Ruby True by Steve Mcdonald, 2 La Defense Reflections by John Thompson, 3 Coming Through by John Thompson, 4 Unusual Building by Steve Mcdonald, 5 Blue Tit by Glyn Trueman; Keel Billed Toucan by Mark Harrison, The Potter by Dave Illingworth, Rhian by Chris Hills and Tilly by Yasmin McGrady were all highly commended.
