From crafts to crackers, there’s something for all

MORPETH All Saints First School has an action-packed few weeks planned in the run-up to the festive season.

Its main event is a Christmas Fair in Morpeth Town Hall on Saturday, which will have something for everyone.

There will be a visit from Santa, festive crafts and a second-hand toy sale for children. A golden cracker lucky dip and name the teddy contest will also keep them entertained.

Adults can enjoy festive refreshments while perusing a range of stalls and perhaps buying a Christmas present or two.

There will be Gorgeous Gorgeous jewellery, Crafty Sheep Candles, Jamie Oliver products, Plain Jane’s Crafts, soaps, luxury Christmas puddings and reindeer dust for sale.

The fund-raiser, which will take place between 2pm and 4.30pm, has been organised by Friends of Morpeth All Saints (FOMAS) – the name of the school’s PTA.

Joint Chairman Catherine Hutchinson said: “We hope that as many people as possible from Morpeth All Saints and the wider community will come along to the fair to help raise money for our school.

“We have tried to include something for everyone and hope that Morpeth gets into the festive spirit and enjoys the event.”

FOMAS is also organising a Christmas Disco and Christmas Elves’ Shop within the Lancaster Park school to further boost school funds.
