The team at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade are hosting a bigger and better Eggstravaganza event this year by extending the entertainment over the bank holiday weekend.
The Easter entertainment will begin on Good Friday when Harry Mears will be making a return visit to perform his well-known songs.
The saxophone player will be in the Piazza area from noon to 3pm, getting shoppers into the bank holiday weekend mood.
On Saturday, the Easter Eggstravaganza event will be held, with family entertainment throughout the day.
The fun will begin at 11am, and will include free face-painting and Easter stilt-walkers. An Easter egg hunt trail will also be held.
There will also be an opportunity for children to bring along their decorated Easter bonnets or join in the craft session in the Piazza area and decorate a bonnet. A bonnet parade will then be held, with lots of Easter themed prizes to be won. The event will also feature a Pets’ Corner.
To end the Easter Eggstravaganza weekend in style, artist and songwriter David Stoker will be performing at the Arcade on Easter Monday, from noon to 2pm.
