Northumberland Wildlife Trust is gearing up to hosting five events during the Easter holidays, aimed at keeping people of all ages entertained.

An Easter egg hunt with a difference will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 10am to 11am, at Cresswell Foreshore.

Take to the beach and hunt for shark egg cases and other fascinating items, and learn all about the sharks, rays and skates that call our coastal waters their home.

An adult must accompany under 18s, there is a limit of six people per team, and dogs are not allowed. To book a place visit www.nwt.org.uk/events/2018/03/31/easter-egg-hunt-difference
And each day from Good Friday to Easter Monday there will be an Easter treasure hunt at Northumberlandia.
Say ‘hello’ to the Lady of the North then drop into the visitor centre, collect a trail sheet that leads visitors on a tour around the woodland, answer questions along the way, and then collect a prize at the end.
There is a charge of £3 per child. Again an adult must accompany children and dogs must be kept on a lead.
