A MULTI-NATIONAL friendship group is inviting Morpeth residents to try a taste of another culture.
SNAP (Sharing (K)nowledge and Pleasure) holds weekly sessions in Morpeth for residents from overseas and those born and bred in Northumberland to learn more about each other’s culture and heritage.
There are English language and culture classes, followed by a social activity or lecture. Members have also enjoyed outings to other parts of the county.
Next week, the group is inviting anyone to go along for a small party.
Foods from around the world will be served, including Spanish tortillas, Romanian cake with nuts and vanilla, Scottish Dundee cake and English scones.
The session will run at Morpeth Library on Monday, from 5.30pm.
