Mel’s ticket to meet the stars

A LUCKY Lynemouth winner is off to see The X Factor Tour live, courtesy of communications company TalkTalk.

The company provided two exclusive VIP tickets to the show, including backstage access to the stars, to the Lynemouth Community Trust to raffle as a fund-raiser.

Winner Melanie Dennis, who will see the tour in Newcastle on Tuesday, said: “I can’t believe I will be going to The X Factor Tour and will actually be able to go backstage and meet some of the stars from TV.”

TalkTalk is also sponsoring Lynemouth Resource Centre for a year, and is investing £50,000 in technology to expand its broadband next generation network to the village, as well as to Cresswell and Ellington.

Resource Centre Manager Andrew Gooding said: “TalkTalk has been really supportive this year and provided us with much-needed funds for the Resource Centre.

“By raffling the tickets that TalkTalk gave us we have raised hundreds of pounds, which we will use to support our community cafe.

“Thank you TalkTalk.”
