HELP is at hand for Christmas plans with a new guide from the National Trust.
Each of five online ‘stockings’ is filled with ideas for events, gifts and activities, themed around food, crafts and festive fun.
Features include details of markets and fairs, trust produce, recipes and decoration ideas.
The guide runs alongside the trust’s Christmas events programme, which features carol singing, music, crafts and food at its properties, including Wallington.
Assistant Director of Operations Liz Fisher said: “We’ve got hundreds of events taking place at National Trust places across the North East in the run-up to Christmas, some great gifts on offer in our shops and delicious food in our tea rooms. If you can’t wait until Christmas to open your stocking, go online and open one of ours.”
The guide can be found at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/northeast
