New chapter opens for town bookworms

NEW stock has arrived in Morpeth Library.

The latest titles to be put on the shelves of the Gas House Lane facility include both fiction and non-fiction books to appeal to a wide range of interests.

The new adult fiction titles include Ragnarok by AS Byatt, Empire of Silver by Conn Iggulden, Legends of Shannara by Terry Brooks and The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen.

There is also Peter Robinson’s Before The Poison and Jodi Picoult’s Sing You Home.

For history fans the factual titles include The Elizabethans by AN Wilson, while film buffs may take a fancy to Elizabeth Taylor Queen of the Silver Screen by Ian Lloyd.

There is also Sophie Dahl’s From Season To Season, The Chief: Douglas Haig and the British Army by Gary Sheffield, Things I Couldn’t Tell My Mother by Sue Johnston and Ipad for Dummies.
