THE Ridley family will again be opening the gates of their private Blagdon estate to the public in a garden charity event.
Blagdon is taking part in the Red Cross Open Gardens scheme to help raise funds for the charity.
Visitors will be able to wander around the grounds, taking in the water garden designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the Lime Walk, the Quarry Garden, the bridges over the Dene, the Cale Cross and the lake.
There will also be the chance to see some of the 300 varieties of maple.
In addition to the natural attractions, including a magnificent display of daffodils, there will also be a fire engine and vintage cycles on show.
The gardens are open on Easter Sunday, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Admission costs £3.50.
