Poet’s new collection

A MORPETH-RAISED poet will return to her roots to launch her new poetry collection.

Former King Edward VI School pupil Kate Tym will host an event at Morpeth Library.

The poet, who now lives in Hastings, will present her Invisible Woman collection and there will also be short performances by some home-grown poetical talent, as well as an interval limerick competition.

The poetry evening will be held at the library in Gas House Lane on Tuesday, from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Tickets cost £4 and include a glass of wine and light refreshments.
