YOUNG visitors should prepare for a scare at Belsay.
English Heritage will take a look at the darker side of history in a half-term full of Hallowe’en activities.
Time Travellers Go Ghosts and Ghouls will take over Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, with plenty of spooky sessions.There will be creepy crafts and ghost hunting galore, as well as the opportunity to meet a costumed Victorian storyteller, recounting tales of grave robbing and other eerie encounters.
Events Manager Jon Hogan said: “As well as the traditional spooks and Halloween treats, English Heritage has planned some exciting half-term events that will suit every taste.
“Belsay Hall is renowned for its spooky connections and lends itself extremely well to a look at the darker side of history.”
Events run from Saturday to Sunday, November 4, daily from 11am to 4pm.
Admission costs £7.70 adults, £6.90 concessions and £4.60 children.
