Spotlight on famous writer and essayist

A talk by Julie Barham about one of the ‘Golden Age’ crime writers is being held at a Ponteland venue on Wednesday.

As well as creating memorable characters such as Lord Peter Wimsey, Dorothy Leigh Sayers was a famous essayist and writer on spiritual matters and she wrote plays based on her own translation of the Gospels.

The talk, which includes some pictures, in St Mary’s Church Hall will start at 11am and be repeated at 7.30pm.
