A TALENTED trio of artists hope to draw more interest to their work in a free exhibition.
Kelly Wallace, Ann Watterson and Susan Summerson, who all live in Cramlington, have been invited to put their pieces on show at Heighley Gate Nursery and Garden Centre near Morpeth.
Customers will be able to view more than 85 paintings and buy whatever takes their fancy.
Kelly, 37, has been painting for four years, primarily using oil, acrylic and watercolour, and also makes bag charms, cards, gifts and gift boxes.
Meanwhile, Ann, 68, uses watercolour and ink to paint flowers and birds, as well as taking inspiration from Rene Gruau and enjoying capturing Charlie Chaplin.
And Susan, 46, who developed an interest in art in her childhood, uses acrylics, pastels and watercolours to capture local landmarks. She also makes her own jewellery.
Heighley Gate Events Co-ordinator Sarah Tait said: “We are really looking forward to the art trio’s exhibition at the garden centre.
“This is the first time they have exhibited here so there will be something new for all our customers to see.
“The exhibition will consist of more than 85 paintings, including pictures of flowers, birds, seascapes and landscapes, to name a few. There will also be handmade gift items for people to purchase.”
The work will be displayed in the centre’s Garden Gate Restaurant during normal opening hours on Saturday and Sunday.
