AN acclaimed Northumberland orchestra will be back in Morpeth for a charity concert.

The Bewick Orchestra, led by Anna Hatch, will perform at Morpeth Methodist Church on Saturday in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Weber’s Oberon Overture will open the programme, followed by Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 21 in C and Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony.

The conductor will be Michael Doswell and the soloist is Tom Garbutt.

The concert begins at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8, £5 for under 18s, and include light refreshments. They are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Morpeth Chantry, Morpeth Methodist Church and on the door.
