The 70th concert season is set to get under way at Morpeth Music Society.
The long-running society will welcome Quartetto Di Cremona to open the series next week.
The Italian group formed in 2000 when the musicians were studying at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona and has performed to critical acclaim across Europe, Australia and the USA.
The concert, at Morpeth Methodist Church, features work by Boccherini, Puccini, Verdi and Beethoven.
It takes place on Thursday, October 9, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14, available at the church.
