Details are announced for music festival

The line-up has been revealed for this year’s Northumberland Music Festival.

The fourth annual event, which runs at Eshott, Doxford and Guyzance halls, will feature classical, opera, traditional and revue.

There will be two full-length opera performances, The Barber of Seville and Tosca, a Symphony Orchestra concert, Gala Opera and Gilbert and Sullivan.

The Northumbrian Ranters and the Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers will perform, as well as opera star Jan Hartley, Sara Coward and Sony Ormonde from The Archers and singer Graeme Danby. The festival is directed by Jeremy Peaker.
