ENJOY a free drop-in concert from a popular Northumberland ceilidh band at Morpeth’s Chantry Tourist Information Centre and Bagpipe Museum on Saturday.
Real to Reel, who have been together for 13 years, feature the county’s unique instrument, the Northumbrian Pipes, alongside fiddle, guitar, mandolin, mandocello, flutes and whistles. The band comprises of Sue Williams, Rob Lambourn, Simon Haworth and Lynn Nicholson, who said: “This will be a relaxed afternoon of traditional music and song. We want this to be very informal so that people can ask questions about the instruments we play. What better place than the bagpipe museum?”
The non-dancing concert will take place between 1pm and 3pm.
