Making music for Christmas

AN acclaimed Northumberland music group will perform at this year’s Morpeth Rotary Club charity brass Christmas concert.

A range of festive favourites will be played by the Northumbrian Water Ellington Colliery Band under talented young musical director Jonathan Fenwick.

The 2012 chosen international charity is WaterAid, which helps the world’s poorest people to access safe water and sanitation.

The concert will take place on Saturday in Morpeth Methodist Church, Howard Terrace, from 7pm.

Tickets are £7 for adults and free for children up to 16, light refreshments are included. They are available from Brumell and Sample Solicitors on Bridge Street (telephone 01670 512336) or on the door.
