YOUNG musicians will warm up for a summer tour of Sweden with a concert in Morpeth this weekend.
The Fligarishon, or ‘lively meeting or celebration’, will be the debut performance for the group of Northumbrian musicians and their tutor Stewart Hardy as they present traditional music, song and dance.
The event will help to raise funds for an educational music tour of Sweden.
The concert takes place in Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum on Saturday from noon to 1pm. Admission is £3 on the door.
