Drama and fun in tales from Borders

A play by Northumberland Theatre Company (NTC) will be performed in Morpeth later this month.

The Disasters of Johnny Armstrong And Other Stories will be staged at the New Life Christian Centre on Saturday, March 17.

The production is described as a northern ‘Canterbury Tales’ for family audiences.

One of Wilson’s fantastic Tales of the Borders, it is humorous, engaging, storytelling theatre at its best. It is suitable for all ages to understand, enjoy and celebrate the culture, tradition and history of the Borders region.

Full of comedy and high drama, as well as strong storytelling, this production will be in Morpeth as part of its tour to village hall venues in Northumberland and the Borders.

The show has been funded by Arts Council England North, Northumberland National Park Authority and Northumberland Coast and AONB Sustainable Development Fund.
