A PANTOMIME production in a Northumberland village has been hailed a success.
Parish councillors in Widdrington Station and Stobswood made an investment to enable Alice in Pantoland to be performed by WTS Productions twice during the festive period.
Tickets were free and there were plenty of laughs for people of all ages at the shows in Widdrington Station Community Centre.
Parish Council Chairman Joe Sennett said: “The panto was fantastic and lots of people said it was great that they were able to see such a show in the village.
“A big well done to councillors Shelly Willoughby, Isabell Fraser and Anderson Crowe for their excellent organisation of the event. They received good support from Coun Fraser’s daughter Rocky and the council’s clerk Richard Smith.”
