A new show from a renowned theatre company will be coming to Morpeth later this month.
You’ve probably seen Dracula the film and read Dracula the book, now Northumberland Theatre Company presents Dracula The Travesty.
Devised and created by the company’s actor and writer Stewart Howson, from the novel by Bram Stoker, Northumberland Theatre Company (NTC) returns with a cast of three to tour to audiences in small venues in towns and villages in the region and beyond.
Light, funny and daft, but with some scary moments, this promises to be Gothic storytelling at its best.
Appealing to families, it features all the anticipated elements of the story — wolves, bats and the Brides of Dracula, with audience participation, humour and music.
It will be at Morpeth’s St George’s United Reformed Church Hall on Saturday, March 18, at 7.30pm.
