If you like Gothic storytelling at its best, with wolves, bats and brides of Dracula, then Morpeth is the place to be Saturday night.
Players from Northumberland Theatre Company (NTC) will present their latest stage offering — Dracula The Travesty!
The play has been devised and created by NTC and Stewart Howson, from the novel by Bram Stoker.
Described as “light, funny and daft, imaginative, atmospheric and exciting, with strong storytelling and some genuinely scary moments”, the play is said to be suitable for family audiences over the age of 13.
With a cast of three, Morpeth is the penultimate stop on the play’s run as it tours across the county and beyond with NTC.
The play can be seen at St George’s Church Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £9 and are available from The Chantry TIC or Frank Rescigno on 01670 510743.
