Panto places up for grabs

AUDITIONS for a range of fun panto roles in Pegswood will take place next week.

The play has been written specifically for local residents and the parts up for grabs on the evening are as follows: Maid Marian, Dame Ursula of Ulgham, the Sheriff of Morpeth, Friar Tuck-In, Little Big John, Lord Geoffrey the Archer, Baron Aad Gadgie of Bothal and Sir Simon de Cowl.

Those going along to the auditions on Thursday, November 29, which start at 7pm, are asked to perform a reading of their choice and/or a song.

Volunteers have also been sought to help out in areas such as scenery, sound and lighting.

Maid Marian of Pegswood is planned for Friday, February 15, 2013, in the evening and Saturday, February 16 with both an afternoon performance and an evening show.
