Pistols drawn in debut show

Pistols will be drawn as a one-man show about the life and quirky times of Lancelot ‘Capability’Brown (CB) and will be performed in the Barn at Kirkharle on Saturday.

John Cobb, founder and artistic director of Theatre Sans Frontieres, will debut his show, the Eyecatcher treating audiences to a romp through Georgian England, from where Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown was born to his departure south aged 23, including tales of his outlandish and outrageous but very wealthy clients.

John Cobb’s exhausting performance also includes music from the period.

The Eyecatcher starts on Saturday and will be performed Wednesdays and Saturdays until August 20 at 11am and 2pm. Tickets are £5.
