Play on PM

POLITICS will come into play for a production in Pegswood this weekend.

Churchill, presented by award-winning actor Pip Utton, invites audiences to enjoy an evening with the former Prime Minister.

When Big Ben strikes, Churchill descends from his plinth in Parliament Square to talk of his childhood, army life and marriage, as well as his painting, writing, bricklaying and appetites during his years at the centre of the world’s political stage.

The play is suitable for over 12s.

It will be staged at Pegswood Community Hub in Longhirst Road on Sunday, at 7pm.

Tickets cost £7, £6 concession, or £16 for a family, available on 01670 512185.
