Twist on TV talent

A TWIST on television talent shows will be performed in Morpeth next week.

The Northumberland Theatre Company production of Star Quality, written by Barry Stone of Holywell Village, tells the fictional story of 20-year-old Geordie singer Julian King – who is hotly tipped to win a glittering Saturday night TV spectacular competition.

So why does he flee the production company that is owned by super-impressario Martin Powell?

The performance is in Morpeth Town Hall on Friday, March 18, from 8pm. To book tickets, which cost £8, telephone 01670 510743.
